WHO WE ARE

Overton Construction and Consulting was established to bring a suite of important services to the large-scale commercial and association marketplace. Twenty-five years in the industry and a leadership team with diverse areas of expertise positions our company to provide key deliverables across a spectrum of needs.


Our passion is severalfold: to restore failing buildings to wholeness and integrity; to authentically care for customers enduring disruptive repairs; and to support and educate stakeholders on building safety, liability, and responsibility.

Who We Serve

Construction Defect Attorneys

Construction defect firms file claims for townhome and condo associations when the builder/developer builds projects with either building deficiencies or code violations. Overton Construction and Consulting has relationships with some of the largest construction defect firms in the state of Florida.


General Counsel Attorneys

General Counsel Attorneys represent townhome and condo associations in matters of the legalities of operating a condo or townhome association. Associations rely on counsel from their attorney to help them navigate the ever-changing laws related to The Condo Safety Act (Milestone Inspections). General Counsel attorneys often recommend engineers, consultants and repair contractors and negotiate the terms of contracts.


Engineering Companies

Engineering companies are hired by defect attorneys, general counsel attorneys, directly by the board or directors, manager/management companies or owners’ representatives to create repair drawings, solicit bids and oversee construction projects. Overton assists and supports engineering companies specializing in The New Condo Safety Act and construction defect claims.


Owner Representatives

Owners’ representatives are hired directly by the board of directors of HOAs and condo associations to look after the best interest of the community or association. These representatives interview and hire engineers and contractors on mostly large-scale exterior renovation projects. Overton assists and supports owner representatives.


Property Management Companies and Managers

When a townhome community or condo association is faced with a large-scale construction project, typically the first person contacted is the property manager. Overton supports property management companies and managers in various ways, including by offering Continuing Education Classes through which managers gain credits and protect their licensing.
